about us

We are a local football team based in Manchester in the United Kingdom. History traces the club back to 1959 and to the founders, pupils at St. Gregorys High School (Manchester).

The club is regarded as one the strongest Amateur Football Club's in Manchester and thus attracts a large number of new and established players from around the region. The club is well known for its youth and community programmes. The club offer's youngsters the chance to access high quality organised football, coaching and a route to football excellence.

The Club is managed by a working committee with designated officer posts. The majority of revenue funding is achieved though players subscriptions, an Annual Sportsman's Dinner and other fund raising events etc, and the club is also very grateful to its main sponsor John Wilson (Wilson's Insurance Group) for his annual sponsorship monies for the purchase of new kits and equipment

The aims of the Club are set down in its recently approved Charter which sets out the club's plans for the 2009/10 through to the 2014/15 Seasons.
