Platt Lane Complex (Manchester City FC Academy),Yew Tree Road, Fallowfield, Manchester, M14 7UU

Note the pitch at Platt Lane is a newly laid artificial grass surface used by the Manchester City Academy Teams. The recommended footwear for the pitch is moulded soles.

Directions to Platt Lane

- Either Travel out of Manchester City Centre along the A5103 - Princess Road - towards Manchester Airport.Turn left up Wilbraham Road, the A6010. Turn left after 400 yards into Yew Tree Road. The entrance to the complex is then 400 yards along on your right hand side.

- Travel from the M56 Junction 3 towards Manchester City Centre along the A5103 - Princess Road Turn right into Wilbraham Road, the A6010. Turn left after 400 yards into Yew Tree Road. The entrance to the complex is then 400 yards along on your right hand side.

- If you are coming around the M60 clockwise leave the M60 at Junction 2 and travel along the A560 turn right onto the A5103 (Princess Road). Turn right into Wilbraham Road, the A6010. Turn left after 400yards into Yew Tree Road. The entrance to the Complex is then 400 yards along on your right hand side.

- If you are coming anti clockwise around the M60 leave at Junction 7 and go left onto the A56.Turn right onto the A5145 (Edge Lane). Turn left into the A6010 (Wilbraham Road). Then left into Yew Tree Road.The entrance to the Complex is then 400 yards along on the right hand side.

 

Directions to Gregorian's FC's   "A" and "B" Teams' Ground

Ground - Manchester University Playing Fields, Off Willenhall Road, Northern Moor Wythenshawe, Manchester.

- From Manchester City Centre: Follow signs for Manchester Airport onto Princess Road (A5103) and then onto Princess Parkway, still the A5103. After passing under Junction 5 of the M60 at Northenden take slip road. As you come to the end of the slip road with the Post House Hotel on your left you come to some traffic lights. At the traffic lights turn right under the A5103. You are now on the B5166. After travelling under the A5103 carry on along the B5166 (Sale Road). The Road bends sharply to the right very shortly after you have come out from under the A5103.You are now on Sale Road ( the B5166). After 400 yards, immediately after pedestrian crossing, turn right into Rackhouse Road.   At 'T' junction (100 yards) turn right into Yew Tree Road. Follow road for 200 yards and then turn left into Willenhall Road. Travel along Willenhall Road for about 200yds and after passing under 3 rd motorway bridge, turn immediately left. Ground is 200 yards on right.

From M60 (West/Anti Clockwise) exit at junction 5 and take the A5103 towards Manchester Airport. When you are on the A5103 you need to leave it after only about 300yds at the next junction (with the B5166). At this junction take the slip road and at the traffic lights turn right under the A5103 towards Sale Moor. Go through the traffic lights under the bridge and following the B5166; after about 25yds the B5166 bends to the right You are now on Sale Road( the B5166). After 400 yards, immediately after pedestrian crossing, turn right into Rackhouse Road.   At 'T' junction (100 yards) turn right into Yew Tree Road. Follow road for 200 yards and then turn left into Willenhall Road. Travel along Willenhall Road for about 200yds and after passing under 3 rd motorway bridge, turn immediately left. Ground is 200 yards on right.

From M60 if travelling from East/Clockwise: Leave the M60 at Junction 4 and join the M56. Leave the M56 at Junction 2. After entering the roundabout at the Junction 2 Exit head to towards Altrincham on the A560. Go through another roundabout and then at the next roundabout turn right towards Manchester City Centre along the A5103. At the next road junction take the slip road to your left and turn left into the B5167 and then turn almost immediately right into the B5166 Sale Road, towards Sale.You are now on Sale Road( the B5166). After 400 yards, immediately after pedestrian crossing, turn right into Rackhouse Road.   At 'T' junction (100 yards) turn right into Yew Tree Road. Follow road for 200 yards and then turn left into Willenhall Road. Travel along Willenhall Road for about 200yds and after passing under 3 rd motorway bridge, turn immediately left.
